The Circle has two systems for ensuring discipline within the clan. The severity of the offence will determine the name of the action taken. Performance reviews may also be undertaken to ensure that people's performance does not slip from the high levels that they have been previously attained. **Three Strikes System** Clan members are generally not to be outcast for their first offense. One may act out of ignorance (even though the laws of the land and clan ARE explicit) and besides everyone deserves at least one chance. However, three offense of a serious nature shall constitute the basis for outcasting. Some of the actions that may result in a strike include: -Breaking mortal guidelines set forth in the Clan Codex -Failure to log-in for at least a 30 minute period in 2 weeks without giving prior notice to a member of the High Council or good reason (this sets inactivity time to 4 weeks, and gives them two warning notes before removal). -Consistent failure to spend at least 30 min at a time for most days (unless for reasons known to the High Council AND Deity) -Consistent failure to adhere to stipulated alignment. -Failure to participate in Clan activities and/or consistent lack of interaction while being online. -Abuse of clan corpse recall. Abuse is classified as: using it when other clan members were online who could easily have assisted; using it to complete an auto-quest or being plain too lazy to get back to the area; returning to the spot that you used the clan corpse recover the first time in spite of realizing no one was there to help, dying and using it again. This list is not all-inclusive. -Begging. Begging is classified as: requesting that clan members acquire items that the player could feasibly get for themselves; asking specific players, or the clan in general to get things the player feasibly cannot acquire themselves on an annoyingly constant basis; asking someone to use skills or spells on the behalf of the player on an annoyingly constant basis; asking for gold. This list is not all-inclusive. -Constant <OOC> chat in the clan channel that annoys others. Examples: flooding, bad-mouthing OOCly, (whether it be the quest master, immortals or other players, the clan channel is not a vent channel for people's aggressions), cursing. This list is not all-inclusive. -Consistent failure to RP despite several reminders. Failure to adhere to the RP Plan decided upon. -Sharing internal clan information with those outside the clan. -Failure to keep alternate characters distinct from each other. -Leaving clan items outside the clan hall, including giving Clan weapons for poisoning. -Other action that may be deemed contrary to the interests of the Clan or put it in unfavorable light. **Actions By Leadership Upon Receiving Strike** Upon First Strike: Personal note sent to the player AND the entire High Council in regard to the offense. The note would warn that any further violations of the clan's rules can and will result in outcast from the clan. Upon Second Strike: Personal note sent to the player AND the entire High Council in regard to the offense, stating that it is a second offense. The note should warn them that this is the last warning they will receive. Upon Third Strike: Personal note should be written to player AND entire High Council as to the three offenses that made them the proud owner of their <O>. **Automatic Outcast Offenses** Offenses of sufficiently grave nature constitute direct outcasting offenses. These include: - Three warnings received during a month's period. - Harassment - Inactive for one months without notice - Failure to fulfill Auxiliary requirements in stipulated time. - Sharing characters- defined as will willingly giving the password for the same to another player or creating the conditions for the password to fall in the hands of second party. - Unauthorized withdrawals from the Clan account. - Becoming a Player Killer - Taking part in an unauthorized raid on another Clan's Hall or starting a RP scenario that would be interpreted as initiating a war with another clan. - Hacking another character, or logging in into the same with malicious intent. Monthly Review Player performance shall be assessed at the beginning of each month and compared to technical and RP requirements of each clan rank. If a mismatch is apparent, it may be necessary to discuss the same with the player concerned, issue a warning, demote, or take other measure, depending on the severity of the problem. If you have RL reasons which would prevent your from participating fully during a particular time period, inform the Deity of your reasons and this will be taken into consideration.
