Besides the officers, there are a number of appointments
opened which serve the daily operation of the clan. Roleplay-wise, these
appointments involve you in an enriched experience in the affairs of the
clan.
The Armigers of Fire
The officers are often busy with the daily running of the clan, diplomatic
endeavours, preparing and supervising clan events, advising clan members
on future prospects, etc. For this reason, the officers have the privilege
to select a personal Armiger from the ranks of the Tribesmen and Warriors.
These Armigers, or officer aides, will serve directly under their specific
officer, who will assign whatever duties they feel will serve them best.
The individual title for each Armiger is also chosen by said officer.
Usually the Armigers have a training or background similar to their respective
officer, since the Armiger is someone who will work closely with the officer
and is someone the officer trusts deeply.
The officers have one Armiger each (max) but under
duress (in times of trouble) the officer may grant the Armiger the authority
to recruit members (from warrior and below) of the clan to aid the Armiger
in patrolling, battle aid, special missions (espionage), etc.
To clarify matters, the Armigers hold positions that
have nothing to do with clan rank and does not supersede command structure
nor do the Armiger positions mean that they are officers in training (that
is for the higher ranks alone).
It is a Role Playing opportunity only.
The Emissary
The Pendragon's personal ambassador and courier, handling sensitive situations,
relaying private messages and solving matters of a discrete nature. Often
used by the Pendragon when she doesn't want to openly involve the clan,
have the time herself, or when there are no Centurions available for diplomatic
missions. The Emissary may also be called on for duties of a more clandestine
nature and to return items that happen to mysteriously appear in Lilira's
pockets.
Preference of officer to be determined.
The Hearthguard
The Jarl's assistant for both the battlefield and the smithy, this Armiger
helps Grysygonth patch his battered armor after his reckless charges into
enemy hordes or fill his flagon when the victory is assured. The Hearthguard
also deliver the Jarls messages, both verbal or carved on runestones,
during missions of various natures. On rare occasions the Hearthguard
has had to haul the Jarl home in a cart after an evening of dwarven festivities.
Preference of officer to be determined.
The Herald
Well educated in the ways of the Circle, The Herald will assist in seeking
out worthy individuals to join within our ranks. A trusted advisor, confidante
and valued second opinion to the Prophet, but also able to voice their
own opinions in a diplomatic way when the need arises. Occasional carrier
of messages within the Clan, discretion is of the utmost importance.
Preference of officer to be determined.
