The Beginnings of Civil War
His coronation was well received, and a delegation from Misantrophy and The Circle of Fire (with some other persons present to witness it) came to visit Korgan and find out his stand on events in Uruk and Arnath both. Korgan once again stated that his primary concern was his capital city, and that Arnath did not concern him (in response to the Circle's pleas to get involved). Phrez was once again reminded of the need to repair the city walls and Correus reminded the newly crowned Imperator to fix the aqueduct. While mutual arguments raged, an Orc Berserker attacked Korgan. The bersker was killed. The bodyguard of Korgan crowded around him and he was taken away. Rumors, however, grew progressively strong that he was dead. Still in hiding, he met Correus and the next moves in the struggle for Uruk were discussed.
Misantrophy declared its intention to get involved and call out its troops into Uruk. Olog, the general who lead the final push into Uruk under the overall leadership of Korgan declared such a move illegal and assumed control over Uruk himself as military governor. He also declared his intention to keep Uruk Orcish. Civil War looked imminent in Uruk Zaahof. War between the orcs loyal to Korgan and to Olog.
