Interview with Taliesin
On the day of Rephegar, 22nd in the Month of the Long Shadows. Year 565 a meeting occurred between Harmony and Circle of Fire. This meeting was to discuss and speak with Taliesin, Bard of Circle of Fire, who is accused of attempting to murder Princess Kiran of the Elven Borderlands. Taliesin is currently in the protective custody of Harmony.
The Harmonites, represented by Templar Galahorn and Alcoyte Bozzin and Circle of Fire representatives, Warrior Ciryath and myself, interviewed Taliesin. Prophet Grysygonth of Circle of Fire was in charge of security and was ably assisted by two young members of our clan, Noeth and Eniar. Scholar Cerethon from Harmony nobly and willingly offered his assistance to Grysygonth as well. Those of us within the meeting room felt very well protected.
The interview with Taliesin was intensive and long as his mind was deeply troubled and the event in question was buried deep within his subconscious. With the use of mind probes, and in the case of the Harmonites, the Eyes of Truth, to withdraw the information and determine what actually took place. When the interview was over, the Lords Ciryath and Bozzin made their reports on their investigations in this matter.
It was determined by we interviewers that Taliesin did not act of his of his own free will. As he journeyed to visit the Elven Borderlands he was accosted by a dark cloaked figure, possibly female. This figure attacked Taliesin and twisted his mind, manipulating him into doing her bidding.
As this interview was taking place, the area in which we met was invaded by orcs and dragons. Our security force, assisted by Ciryath and Bozzin, fought the onslaught and kept the enemy at bay. For their services and dedication in aiding our protection, Warrior Ciryath was promoted to Preceptor and Noeth to Tribesman. For laying his life on the line, our Great Goddess Kleothera bestowed her favor to Cerethon. It is wondered if this Dark Figure found out about our interviewing Taliesin and was trying to stop it from happening.
In view of these new facts, I have made the request to Harmony that our bard, Taliesin, be returned to his clan.
