Second Interlude
While this was on, a Mysterious cloaked figure appeared in the midst of the city, searching for one Drachenfell, Count of the Clan Maelstrom and one of its former leaders. A considerable bounty was declared for anyone offering information about his whereabouts. He was, however, gone from the realms at the time and there was none who could help. The Lady Diamante, the then leader of Maelstrom responded offering her clan’s services to him in its stead. A secret meeting was held with the figure. Maelstrom was asked to launch an attack on Aden in exchange of 1000 gold coins. She agreed readily. Both parties emerged happy from the meeting, thinking they had gained from the bargain. Maelstrom thought it gave them a chance to revive faded glory. The mysterious figure’s motives remained, well…. Mysterious.
