Rangek: Hope Perhaps
To All of the Realm that stand against the Onslaught.
Reading over some of the material in CoF's archives I came across a very small passage within an extract of Princess Kiran's diaries. The extract is dated "Rephegar, 9th in the Month of Harmony, Year 489" It reads as follows:
Ogres. Portals. Demons. Something familiar, yet it eludes me. No matter. My librarian will have to take a look at our records. Old, dusty things.
Though we are at present having no problems with ogres as such the rest of this extract must be viewed with at least a little hope. As we have been given access once more to the borderlands might I suggest that we send an envoy to consult with the librarians and look over the tomes stored within?
Also I have found within our archives a reference to a artifact that Ciryath speaks of princess Kiran possessing. From what I can comprehend it is related to the tracing or inversion of portal energy? Perhaps Ciryath had forgotten his discovery during the Ogre wars?
Anyways these two pieces of information give hope where slowly it was dying. Often the answers to the future lay in the hands and minds of the past.
